Not treating patients on the same day as their consultation, giving them time to assess all their options now that they have all the information and informed choice whether to go ahead with treatment.

Maintaining a clean and sterile environment is another essential aspect of patient safety. In any medical setting, hygiene is non-negotiable. From the tools used, to the products applied to the skin, every element must meet the highest standards of cleanliness to reduce the risk of infection and ensure optimal results.
I adhere to strict hygiene protocols, wearing PPE and ensuring that equipment is sterilised, each needle used is sterile and single use only, and that each treatment area is sanitised between patients. These seemingly small details play a significant role in minimising the risk of complications and creating a safe environment for every patient and their treatment.

However, without proper regulation, it becomes difficult for patients to distinguish between trained professionals and those without any form of qualifications. This is why I am a strong advocate for increased regulation in the UK’s aesthetics industry. It is not about limiting access to treatments but ensuring that everyone offering these services is held to the same high standards of safety and professionalism. I empower people to seek a Medical Professional for their treatments (even if they do not choose Victoria's Aesthetics), to ask their practitioner questions and to ensure they feel 100% happy and fully informed before they proceed with a treatment.
